Gen 2 brake lever protector?

Has anyone sourced these, as in the short angular metal bars first pioneered in racing I think, for their Gen 2 XR (Gen 1 may be the same fitting, not sure?) I'm struggling to find any in the UK (to avoid import duties etc). I need some to take part in a track day, as I've been advised they are compulsory (its a BMW Club track day). TIA

Yes, exactly that type of product. I think I'd spotted these, and noted they were made in/shipped from China. Good price, though, just not sure about the quality/fit

Can't you just leave the standard guards - on?

Lol, yea, good point, it might be wise to ask! Guess I normally take them off during the summer months, so it didn't occur to me

Was that the BMW Club road bikes only trackday at Cadwell on 18th July?
I was planning to go with the standard guards fitted.
There haven't been many trackdays for roadbikes recently, so looking forward to that one.
Be nice to get a good turnout of XRs. Anyone else going?
