    SWMotech Daypack or Engage?

Looking for a mid sized tank bag to keep a spare pair of gloves, snack, drink etc. in. Both look suitable for a gen 2 bike but has anyone got one and photos of it fitted? Daypack looks a bit flat where the engage possibly fits to the shape of the bike better, but looks more bulky?

I don’t have a pic available sorry, but I got the SW Daypack for my Gen 1. I was similarly bothered as to whether the flat shape would work or whether one of the more contoured bags would suit better, but it works just fine on my Gen 1.

My main priority was not having something too big, and I wanted a tank ring fit vs faffing with straps. On its non-expanded smaller setting I can fit in stuff like keys / wallet / visor spray / small cloth / choccy bar / 300ml water bottle / spare gloves / earplugs etc - just. Think I’ve only used the expanded setting once in 4 years to squeeze some sandwiches in too.

You’ve a bit of choice in fore/aft position as you have to drill the bag base yourself to fit the tank ring adapter, so that range of movement helps a lot with getting its shape to compliment the tank contour with out looking silly.

Thanks, I've decided to order both of them and hopefully work out which works best and send the other back.

My main requirement is to fit a 500ml bottle in but I don't want anything too huge on there.

Will take some photos if I can to compare the two.

Well I bought both of them and have decided to keep them both! Both fit well but the Engage has a lot more room in it for waterproof jacket, drink etc. where the daypack isn’t quite big enough for everything for a trip in poor weather. Ideal for a day trip where it’s not forecast to rain though and looks quite a bit smaller on the bike.
