ABS light and and D-ESA Flashing on and off

Any ideas about this. Never had it before, but today I had the ABS light intermittently flashing on and off. This was happening when accelerating and cruising and no braking involved.  At the same time I had D-ESA flashing up on the LCD screen.    It was happening in various gears but did seem to go away but not before 20 or so miles had been covered.   Any ideas or do I need to take it for a check?    It’s a late gen 1 2020 plate with 5k miles.

check you battery terminal connections to make sure they are tight, and then check your battery.

What SimonUK said....poorly battery connections can throw up all sorts of electrical gremlins. If they prove ok...You'll need to plug into Motoscan or a GS-911 and see what the cause is. If a fault light has come on, there will be fault codes stored.

Or get to a dealer and get it checked out.

Another confirmation of the above statements :002:

I had D-ESA warnings flashing (along with dash light going up and down in dimm) when returning from a trip, I got home and checked battery connections, the were very loose. Tighten them and everything is fine since!

Wanted to say thanks to folks who suggested to check battery connections for this issue.  Had the D-ESA! warning today and turns out my positive terminal connection was very loose.  User error from recent battery replacement.  Tightened up and crisis averted!
