Tail Tidy Recommendation
« on: June 22, 2016, 05:52:03 PM »
Can anyone recommend an easy fit tail tidy please? I've found offerings from Evotech (£160) and R&G (£100) but I would be grateful for a recommendation from anyone that has one fitted before I part with my money. Thanks.

I have the Evotech, as you retain the BMW tail light. The R&G one comes with a cheap Chinese tail light, and looks crap.

I really like Evotech. The quality of their products, and their customer service puts R&G to shame.

I second that for EvoTech, I took the very first one for the XR, its superb.  :028: Also got them fitted to my other bikes except the NineT, they all look great.

I may be the lone voice here but I have the R&G fitted and I am very happy with it, and was very easy to fit.
I might look like I'm listening to you, but in my head I'm riding my bike.

I quite like the stock tail light arrangement with the silly black plastic under guard removed.

Strangely enough when these tail tidies came out was quite interested but as time has gone on thought bloody hell they made docking dogs tails illegal and should do the same with the XR. :002:

Evotech Tail Tidy for me. Looks great. Considered the less expensive R&G but didn't like to use their light unit. Easy to fit with good instructions. Also have their Bar End Weights which really help with the vibes. Just fitted their Crash Bobbins. All looking great :001:

I like your take on it Winger  :0461: made me laugh,  I quite like the standard set up, certainly keeps the muck of the back seat etc, So much so, I was thinking of getting the Ilmberger carbon one,  :152:
