    Matt Gecko Gen1 LED Headlights

    Hi Guys,

Just want to see if there would be any interest here.

I have an opportunity to get Matt Geckos Gen1 LED headlights to the UK with good savings. They give superior light performance over the stock, they modernize bike look and I think they do look great.
They are from matt gecko USA, new, will come with 2-year warranty from matt gecko.
As it stands, Headlights are about £400, import tax is about £100 and shipping is another about £100, so all in all looking at about £600.

I am able to get them here without import tax, and if enough of us, shipping can be cheaper or free too.
So if there are 4 of us, we can all save about £200. If there are more of us, I'm pretty sure I can sort out further savings.

They would be all delivered to a single UK address and we would sort out logistics from there.
If you want to commit, I would need some sort of guarantee or deposit so I don't just fork out my money and end up with sh#t loads of headlights :)
Perhaps to use paypal so this way everyone is protected and money can be claimed back if anything happens.
You can post your ideas on how best to sort it.

    Cheers

They look cool, perhaps something I’d be interested in the future. I’ve literally just bought the bike so cannot commit now though.

Pretty sure light requirements are fairly universal, can't see a single reason they wouldn't be road legal, not that you're likely to encounter anyone that cares.

the led light pattern is flat, as on most led headlights nowadays. hence it is universal for both right and left-hand driving countries.

Do you mind me to ask, i hate when leds go faulty, even modern cars leds go crap and either work only partially or doesn't. How long have you had them on either bikes and any issues with them?

    Thanks
    Joe

On the Tiger I had them for about 2 years and sold the bike last year .... I sold it to my buddy and he  rides with us  so on that bike  about 3 years and 30k miles they have been on there, on the BMW I bought them in August of 2020.... so far 26K miles and no issues...

Here is a pic I took midway through the install process...hence why  the windshield is not back on ..
