Great info by those who have boldly gone b4.
Appreciate that Antares.

I really like the looks of that bike color with the black Cobra pipe on it. I think I'm going to do that but I can't decide if I want the black tips or chrome.  :084:

Thank you for the compliment Buddy. I’ve painted the Cat with Black Rustoleum brand stove paint now too which I think hides the look of it some, it’s been there a few hundred klm & cured nicely, NO peeling or blistering.
I’ve pulled the baffles on the mufflers & the tips go a little discoloured but I’m not one for polishing & preening a whole lot, so excuse the lack of - Gleam n Shine.

& as BMW call the bike colour - Gitane Blue.
I had to add the appropriate labeling.
Plus trying out my existing Kreiga 32 litre panniers.

I’m liking the riding in Solo PLUS baggage Antares. 👌
Had thought she’d be a bit too harsh
But the harder I Punt along, the more this makes sense.
As you say she’s kinda better balanced front to back.
I’ve binned the original fitment rear tyre.
It got Scarey, the transition from centre compound to edge compound, it was feeling like she’d LET GO, then caught again.
F—kin scarey tyres those - Rosso Diablo 2,s
Metzeler 9 Sportec,s suit me fine.
