    I can confirm it is an easy swap and is MUCH louder.  The only caveat is I needed to twist the new horn around 180 degrees so I doesn't hit the fork tubes.
    Ask me how I know!

    Can also confirm the Bren tune stage 2 is an unbelievable upgrade!!!

    I did the same horn upgrade in my Gen 1. Not only is it easy, it's cheap! On my Multistrada, I bought the Denali SoundBomb with wiring harness and installation bracket. It was very involved, expensive, and the way the bracket was designed you couldn't get behind it to tighten it all the way. I had to wire-tie it and still lost one going over a rough section of road. I was so pleased with the loudness of the 5 series horn that it makes me wonder why they don't install it that way from the factory. I have to imagine they have a few of those laying around  :027:
