Hi folks just purchased a 2019 triple black with full luggage, amazing bike, in my early fifties so I may just be mature enough to cope the the 165 hp. Plan to do some trips around northern Queensland.
I live west of Cairns and we have some amazing scenery and twisty roads great bike area.
Got back into bikes about 10 years ago the BMW's stable mate us a triumph thunderbird 1600 which mixes things up when I want some low down rumble.

Welcome to the group. As far as being in your early 50's and being mature enough to cope with the HP....   :745:  I'm in my late 50's and all maturity goes out the window when I get on the throttle of this bike!  :164: Some day I hope to visit your neck of the world, until then enjoy your ride!! :028:

Bahaha love it guys, I've never had a bike like this, as soon as I sat on it I had to have it. I will admit that it feels a bit weird not scraping pegs on the twisties and talk about the brakes, wow! My cruiser is 350kg, a semi can outbreak it.

So I catch up with an old friend in Cairns this week and we shot off for a ride, he has plenty of riding experience and mainly on sport bikes (in line fours) and he pulls me up after half an hour an tells me the cam chain noise is horrendous, (I come from singles and v twin's).
Stopped at bmw Cairns and the mechanic said better bring it in something is not right, now it's still got warranty till November, so I'm not to concerned, but really, bike only has 18k on it, so my question is do bmw back up warranty well?
I'm asking because a brought a new case tractor 8 years ago that was a lemon and all case did was blame me and try to charge me. :006:

If it's under warranty it should be no problem.
