    OEM seat upgrade

So, here is the seat that i sent to Tom Hurley to get gel inserts and a bit sculpted off the side. Stunning is all i can say at the moment. Had a little ride out, so far so good. Although need to get a few hundred miles in one go to see exactly what like.
Great guy, kept me informed all the way and asked and or advised different designs. Very please to say the least. First thing you actually notice is the weight of the seat due to the medical foam used etc.

Certainly makes the bike look a whole lot better as well imo  :028:

£305 and cost about £15 to post down to workshop. Been out for approx 400 miles now and no numb bum. Very impressed so far.

Looks good but can you post a side profile of the seat. Just wanted to see if he was able to adjust the contour.

£320, not a bat price if it's comfortable. Tom Hurley done some work on my GSA seat and I had no problems with that either.

Thanks for the lead, Mab1067.   :002:

Edited to add that one of my existing bikes needs the seat rebuilding to a high standard and I like the look of Tom's work.

The one thing I've heard about gel insert seats is that they can get very hot if left in the sun. Have you experienced this?

Had one. They get as hot as anything in the sun, the problem is they retain the heat very very very long. Gel accumulates heat, many more times than a cover and foam, and the only thing to cool it off is your backside
