May be a daft question but just wanted to check - is this space and connector for the factory alarm? If so, is there an easy way to relocate the connector out of the way (any photos/suggestions of where it can be moved to?) so I can use that space for storage?

i've changed location of the alarm and emergency-call connectors for the same reason. Forgot which one is which. One is setting next to the negative terminal, and one by the fuses. Temptation to cut them off was there but both have a CAN bus resistor inside. To move them easiest is to remove battery. On the emergency-call location I will fit the reservoir for my chain oiler (you can see the white oil line). Other thing i've fitted on the 40amp fuse holder is a 2xUSB Ali thingy, one for the phone, and one spare.
