Excuse the duplicate post, but something went wrong and I couldn't respond to the original. I'll I wanted to do was remove the Nav2 cradle and bracket from a Gen2 XR without cutting the wire, but I wasn't sure where to start. The original post got me started. Here's the rest.
1. Put a blanket over the handlebar area
2. Remove the windshield
3. Remove the four bolts that easily visible under the windshield and pull away the two pieces they were attaching to the bike
4. Remove the two bolts that are recessed behind the springs and pull away the piece they were attaching to the bike
5. Since the wire is still attached, set the three pieces on the blanket as best you can
6. Reach down by the front left fork and clip the first plastic tie wrap
7. Insert a thin, long, and narrow standard screw driver under the black tab holding down the white plug, and lift to release the white plug
8. Pull the white plug out, slip it through the plastic tie wrap, and slowly pull it out through all the plastic
9. Reassemble
Rick
