Hi all
Sorry to disappoint with the title, this is not a lonely hearts add.
Cleaned the bike this morning and when finishing up I noticed this little plastic / nylon screw / nut nearby. It looked to clean to be random kerb trash but I can't seen anywhere missing a screw / nut.
Does anyone recognise this or can you put my mind at ease and let me know its not from the bike!
Cheers

Sorry, I do not recognize that all, and I have my XR stripped down at the moment. Is it actually a 'screw' thread, or just a plug?

you could have shown it with a coin to indicate size
it looks like the sort of push fit buffer you get in luggage rails, not the BMW or Givi ones though. Do you have any aftermarket luggage?

Thanks for the replies. Actually now putting my glasses on it isn't threaded. So must be a push fit plug.
Bike has BMW panniers set.
Good point on the scale, I'll take another image later.

It's the side stand rubber bumper, it fit's in the stand at the top of the stand where it hits the frame. Common for them to fall out. Just glue it back in and put a little dab of grease on the bumper bit where it hits the frame.....if the side stand is "up" for long periods or the bike is on it's center stand for long periods, it can sometimes stick to the frame ....and when you put the side stand down it pulls out of the stand....and falls on the floor...or you lose it out on the road somewhere.

When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my Grandfather....not screaming like the passengers in his car..!
