    ConnectedRide cradle on Gen1

Does anyone with the Gen1 XR use the BMW ConnectedRide cradle? I got one and cannot find a manual online anywhere. The link on the "getting started" card is in German and I don't see an English option. I got the thing paired easy enough but can't figure out how to get the wonder wheel to work with it. Also, it's supposed to go into "cradle mode" and be in landscape view but there are not any settings for that. Thought this would be a good replacement for my dying Nav6...

Might be worth taking your Nav6 back to BMW and asking about a replacement.
I took mine back because of poor battery life and occasional freezing of the screen and got a brand new replacement despite been 5 years old  :028:

Well, I figured it out. Unpaired and repaired with the phone in the cradle. It figured out the wonder wheel itself and went into landscape mode.  That tiny "getting started" card they send with it could really use some user testing.

Wow, you have a good dealer! The place I bought the bike, and the Nav6 went tits up and another local dealer I tried just pointed me to Garmin.

They replaced it twice under warranty and I tried again but was told it's out of warranty.

:0461: My dad has a Nav 6 and his touch screen and battery was acting up. He sent it to Garmin and they sent him a new one for free. They must know there's problems with them because they didn't ask any questions about it.
