What size Air Hawk cushion fits the XR best?

I tried searching this forum for an answer. I have a 2016 XR and I am trying to decide which size Air Hawk cushion fits the stock seat the best? I ordered the Cruiser R small and large-- they both technically fit. The small only covers a portion of the seat. The large covers the majority of the seat and overlaps the edge of the seat somewhat. This also causes the attachment buckles to sometimes end up underneath the seat and I worry that they might get crushed. What size do you use? Thanks!

I used to have a 2016 XR. I used a cruiser R Large, thought it sat fine on the seat.

I think you could go either way. I have a small cruiser pad that I bought years ago for a couple of adv bikes and I have thrown it on the XR and it seems to fit both gen 1 and 2. I don't normally use it, but I throw it in my tailbag if I am going on a long trip to avoid tail torture if I have to slab home.
You can't teach pigs to sing - it only frustrates you and annoys the pig.
