what price range are you considering? Prices range form £20 to £200 or more.
Sportsbikeshop is a good start. Free returns.
If you want reasonable quality at not a too dear price look at Weise, RST & Richa. I have gloves from all of these brands and would buy again. Models seem to change each year so can't really recommend a specific item.
If you want a pair of cheap, vented, unlined leather gloves then I like these. Very comfy on a really hot day but not the best protection. It's a compromise where being uncomfortable is in itself a risk to losing concentration

+1 On Richa
I used to use the RST Stunt III gloves, I had like 3 pairs, but each time break in was painful, and whilst after that they were very good with good comfort and feel and good protection, the durability isn't great, they lasted about a year each. I decided to drop a little more on some gloves now, looking for the same style I found the Richa Stealths, I bought them soon after when I got the XR Last year, no signs of any damage or wear, was extremely comfortable from the first minute and they still are, definitely not too hot for the summer and serviceable in the winter, especially with the XR's heated grips, only place they suffer is when it rains they tend to get soaked easily and due to a lot of padding/fabric on the inside they stay soaked for a while, if rain stops and there is air going through them though, they dry out in no time at all.

I always have three guiding principles for new kit:
Do I like the look of it
Can I afford it
Does it have the right level of protection - Always check the CE level etc
It's always the looks that attract you, followed by the price. But none of that is any good if it doesn't give the protection you want and all the big companies show the CE rating on their website.

Same here. But first thing you need to do is to get rid of those ugly handcovers which never seem to be straight anyways
BMW finally has a bike with some italian style, and they bolt this agricultural tractor stuff back on

+1 for Klim Induction my best summer gloves - better than Rukka Forsair and Held Chikara I’ve used previously.
