By accident found the weep hole under the waterpump damp with oil whilst cleaning the bike. Its not dripping. Going to Italy in a week doing approx 2500 miles. Not sure if I have enough time to change it. Is it normal for it to be like this?
I dont want to cause any other issues before I go if I try to change it.
Bikes a 2019 gen 1 with 15000 miles on it.

If it isn’t dripping coolant, and you haven’t smelled the coolant on the hot exhaust collector - I’d take a chance on it.

I suspect that a little bit of oil might pass the seal, but it sounds like you just have a trace, and they are not known for failing on that side.

Tackling a perceived oil seal leak, may fail the water pump seal.

Check it regularly to avoid worry.

Just had it running on the drive for 30 mins and no sign of oil so not drastic. Will probably show again on a long drive. Could have been like that for a while bit only noticed it as I put my hand on the water pump whilst cleaning it.
