New owner/VT-USA

Have been waiting for this bike since last Fall.  Got the dealer to hold the first arrival and had a chance to drive it on Wednesday......WOW!  Pretty amazing ride.
Immediately told the dealer I wanted to trade the K1600GT and bought it.  Now all I have to do is sell the K1300S and I'll have the best of both worlds.  The GT was too big and the 1300S was too cramped for the riding we have here in Vermont on long drives.
Looking forward to hearing from other owners about how they are doing with their experiences owning this first introduction model.
Many people ride.....but for a select group of people it's more than a ride....it's one of life's great passions.

Good luck with your new bike and welcome  :400:

Sat on the GT at the bike show last year and wow what a big boy that is !   Not my sort of bike, I'm sure you'll find the XR much more fun  :152:
