I've been looking everywhere for a footpeg lowering kit for my 2016 for the driver. Can't find anything anywhere! I'd appreciate any leads any of you happen to know about. Thank you.

You can buy lowering pegs, however, the problem with lowering footpegs is having enough adjustment of the gear and brake levers to accommodate the lowered pegs. There's a small amount of adjustment available on each but possibly not enough to allow for lowered footpegs.....then there's the issue of reduced ground clearance....the pegs scrape reasonably easily as it is, let alone lowering them further.

I've got a 34" inseam and have lowered pegs on my FJR, Concours 14 and Aprilia Caponord Rally. I don't do track days and rarely lean that far. When I do, pegs are for scraping! Bummer they can't be had for a bike that is otherwise well suited to a tall rider like me. My knees are up so high and not in the optimal spot on the tank.

Hey Salish, I too have a desire for extra room on my 16XR. Although my inseam is closer to 32" I'm interested in that option. Did you discover anything noteworthy on your quest?

I honestly think you'd be better served with a taller seat, wont negatively impact the ground clearance or mess about with adjustment, and taller seat might be more comfortable with more padding.

Thanks for the link :028: I did however, read that some people had trouble with the SWM's failing  :187: (which would be a disaster!)
