You're actually posting now, and I'm replying to your post. When you start a thread, you're the OP (original poster) so you've got that sorted. 

A poll, as far as I know is, when you set up a poll to vote on something, like "Out of the following 3 tyres, which do you prefer?" you then name them and other members click on one of the choices.. I've never set one up but have voted on others..

There are folks on here more experienced on forums than I am, I'm sure they'll be along to add their comments, and put me right, if I'm wrong..

Hey thanks for replying. OK when I went to the new members tab I could not find a post button. I think I ended up posting in general chat.

Poll means the same in UK as it does here. 

I just got a 2016 S1000XR with 3000 miles on it. My FJR1300 was getting a little heavy as I age :) and I wanted to try something different. Lots of fun so far. I will keep you’posted’.
