Windscreen Review - MRA Vario - WOW.

Awesome new windshield. I'm guessing this has been discussed here before... My XR had the Tall OEM windshield. I got a lot of wind effect over 60 mph, or when around other vehicles (like when stuck on the slab). I’m 6’3”.

A buddy of mine SWORE by the MRA Vario windscreen. Put one on today - WOW. It’s about as high as the OEM Tall, plus the adjustable foil. Virtually ELIMINATED head buffeting. They have clear and smoke. It's still low enough that I can easily look over it; well below line of sight.

Yeah, MRA screens always seem to work well. The MRA for the Gen1 looked good and worked well. For the Gen2 it works well, a real game changer for me (and on my KTM 1290 SAS) but the looks are an acquired taste   :164:

I think I had bought the (smoked) MRA even before I had taken delivery of the bike!

I’ve experimented with it in the raised position, but think that unless you are around 6ft 4in - the lower position with the ‘foil extended - works well in throwing the bugs over the top of your lid.

Maybe in monsoon conditions - I might raise it, but otherwise - it works well as above.

On the Gen 1 in the lowered position it's very comfortable and smooth airflow, although a fair bit of pressure, still, way better than stock. In the high position the air is deflected ridiculously well, I'm talking like open visor at 130+ well, though there is some buffeting introduced in the high position. Not much though.

Anybody ever ordered directly from mrashop.de?  These things are crazy marked up in the states.
