    Volume control with wizzi wheel

I'm new to the BMW S1000XR world and have used shoes neotec with Sena srl2 for some time in the past. Does anyone know if it’s possible to adjust the volume via the wizzi wheel using Sena or must one buy the BMW stuff AND does anyone know if it’s any good.
    I use an iPhone.
    Thanks

Yes, as long as both your phone and sena are connected through the bike. If the sena is connected to your phone it doesnt work.

    Thanks for the response.
I believe I have connected Both through the TFT but cannot seem to get the wizzi wheel to adjust the volume? It does everything else!

the wunderwheel only works with the always outdated bmw B/T helmet system. Keep it simple, leave anything with BMW on it out of communications. BMW can design bikes, but as for comms anything on Ali is miles better and cheaper. Buy Sena, Cardo etc

    Brilliant
Many thanks, when on the subject what is the best Bluetooth set up? My friend reckons the Sena mesh is worth the upgrade from SRL2 as the speakers are loads better???
It’s a pity the wheel doesn’t work as I’m struggling with the volume control buttons through gloves!!!

I use a sena 20S.  Only use it for one to one comms with friends to warn for traffic or coffee stops. Most signals are by hand or foot as we're used to that. GPS is also set to only visual, as audio overlay doesn't work and I'm tired of loosing my music stream in the switching to GPS  Audio overlay with one to one coms works fine. As  stated my TFT is not in the link, it is connected for riding info thru the Connected App and that doesn't seem to disturb anything. My music is directly from phone to Sena
Edit don't know about helmet speakers. I use Bose QC20 ANC earbuds, a mess with wires but works for me

Works fine with my 50R. I do have to make sure the bike is looking for bluetooth before i fire up the Sena. It isnt quick and smooth like a car, but it works.

EDIT: Mesh is worth it, just did 2 weeks and 7200km with some friends and the mesh is flawless, i just upgraded from a 20s

I have a Schuberth C4 pro with the Sena SC1 integrated comms system.  phone and helmet are connected to TFT and not to each other.  The volume doesnt work with the wizz wheel but i dont mind reaching to the back of the helmet to bump it up or down every now and then.  Once you get the volume of the phone up,  before you put it in the cradle,  you can kind of get it to a point where you wont change it much.

That’s the same when using the BMW B/T system. If the phone isn’t at full volume - don’t expect to be able to hear much.
