Yes, all you need is a larger dust cap, but there is no LED on the market currently that doesn't need that, even "low profile" ones which are frankly crap most of the time. Saying that Auxito did recently release a new low profile bulb so if you wanna try them and report back, by all means.

I use whatever the Philips bulb of the moment is...  I think it was Diamond vision for a while and maybe now I have crystal vision or something in there.  To me they are fine, but I don't do a ton of night riding and I have Clearwater Darlas to augment the mediocre stock lighting so I never bothered with an LED upgrade.

Haven't looked back since LEDs tbh, I used to run osram Nightbreakers and GE Megalight Ultra 150s and the LED is brighter than both.

+1 on the Auxito Z1s. The issue you need to be concerned about is getting the LAMPF error message if you use a bulb that's not compatible. I had no issues at all and it was a simple change-out. Don't forget to change the parking lights while you're at it. The stock ones have a yellow tint to them and it looks strange with the white LED headlights

Regarding the size of the LED bulbs do they all need a larger dust cap?
