    A quick hello

Thought it best to tip my cap and say hello.   My names Jack and I reside in Lincolnshire.  Just turned 60 and been biking well over 40 years. I would describe my riding style as twattish, but not in the 30’s.  I took my SDR 1290 to Chris Walkers for a coffee and came home with a 17 plate XR se 🤣.   The test ride was a thrill, it’s revvy and a tad vibey, but it certainly hustles and I love the riding position, but being 6’2” I’m gonna need a slightly taller screen.  No doubt I’ll be on here asking newbie questions as an when…..cheers

     :400:

I recall the vibs on the gen1, solved with heavier bar ends for me.

At your height a taller screen is a defo requirement, the OEM on both 1 and 2 is tiny, i'm 5'8 and its still too small for the blue routes..

    Enjoy, they're a blast to ride  :152:

Thx for your reply….I’ve just purchased a taller screen, so hopefully it’ll sort the wind noise, if not I’ll get a bikini screen and get my head in clean air.   I’m really enjoying this gentleman’s sports bike, it’s a hoot…..cheers
