Hi everyone.  I'm from the state of Pennsylvania, USA.  I've ridden and owned a number of dirt bikes and street bikes over the years.  My last bike was a bmw r1250rt.  I test rode a bmw s1000xr while I was having a service done on my r1250rt.  After a month of constant thought of the s1000xr test ride, the urge to own one became too much to ignore...the only mods I've done thus far is to disconnect the servo wires from the flapper and wired the flapper open.  Puig fender extender for front fender installed.  Shad 3P luggage racks on order for the 36 litre luggage I had left over from another bike.

:400:! My '21 S1000XR is the first in-line four BMW motored bike I've owned as all previous BMWs have been boxers. I've been using the bike for everyday commuting duties and a few canyon rides, and so far am extremely pleased with it. Anyhoo, have fun with your new purchase and welcome to the forum -- lots of good info in here!!!

Don't forget to post some pics of the new ride when you get a chance!
