Had a good social day out today meeting up with various ‘reprobates’  :008: and as the show is in the middle works for all of us but can well imagine those that have to watch the pennies not being overly happy,as even one of my cronies described it as antiseptic, although having coughed up 600 quid recently for a new armoured 3/4 jacket…back protector is extra sir…didn’t see it cheaper at the show.

I went again this year but doubt I will go again next year. Pretty much same old every year. Quite an expensive day out with entrance charge, parking, coffee etc.

Me and a mate going this Saturday, I think riding bikes for 29 quid, is a bargain. Paired with all the experiences, can't really complain, even if it's not as grandiose as in the past.

FairPlay to ya riding a bike at this time of year..I’ll stick to my electric mountain thank you 😂.

Not sure if it’s too late to pre book tickets but there is a saving and when it comes to car parking just look at the NEC and train station layout and work it out……

Food wise..buy a sandwich at least there will be some kind benchmark the cooked stuff is an effing disgrace.

Best conversation I had by the proverbial mile was with the guy on the Energica stand it’s the way bikes are going like it or not, I have done it with mountain bikes and when I mentioned the hassle I’d had along the way he was more forth coming and about how poor some of the electric offerings are.

Yep. Parked car in the train station for £12 for 24hrs, coffee better in the train station as is Subway for food. If I want to ride a bike I go to a dealer, preferably when the weather is better, that said, out on my XR tomorrow  :046:

Weather is not an issue for me unless it's freezing, had a lick with that on monday too, 2°C it said but a smooth bit of upwards left hander was icing over, TC was screaming at me the whole way up lmao

I'm off up on Saturday. Price is pretty disgraceful, but luckily one of my passengers booked tickets and parking in advance  :156:

Not been for a while so looking forward to it - is the M1000R there?

More upset be what isn't there, no M1000XR or KTM 1290 Super Adventure with 17" wheels and Duke engine and brakes?
