    Lower light bracket for Gen1

Hi all. I am finally getting to make this post. I live in Southern California and use my XR for daily commuting (80 miles round trip). With the sun going down as early as 5 pm, I've been having issues with drivers not seeing me as I lane split.

I bought these Baja Designs S1 lights (https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/s1-black-led-auxiliary-light-pod-pair/?sku=387815) to gain better visibility to other drivers. Some might question why I am purchasing off-road lights. But since I come from off-road truck racing, Baja Designs produce and manufacture the best LED lights that can endure some beating, and I have used them for my vehicles. Their compact design can produce just over 2300 lumens per light. Plus, our race team is sponsored by them  :002:

I searched high and low and wasn't happy with some of the mounting brackets available on the market. A few members told me about the Clearwater brackets, but I couldn't find pictures of them, so I went out and had mine made. Because I am not an engineer, nor am I good with making stuff like this, I had my in-house machinist make me a bracket. He laser cut some acrylic to get fitment. The final product will be made out of aluminum. As you guys can see, these will be mounted low.

My fantastic wife said I could open up an early Christmas gift, which happens to be the HEX ezCAN. Going to set up the lights so they strobe/flash as I am lane-splitting. I would like to program them to be turned on/off independently. I will update this post with the final outcome.

The brackets should look good. However, I have never fancied fixing lights to the moving part of the forks, do they not bounce up and down and annoy drivers  :187:

Check out these photos for where I fitted mine. They are programmed to turn off when I indicate ..  :028:
