Additional fuel capacity

Has anyone experience with added fuel capacity ? For the kind of riding that I do now it probably wouldn't matter, but after I retire I might try some longer rides where limited stops are a plus.
Thanks gang.

Nothing fancy...just a 1 gal rotopax that I have left over from my adv/dual sport days. The mount attaches to my rear luggage rack/top rack with a couple screws so I leave it off unless I really need it. Here's a pic of it under a small Kriega bag on my 690.

You can't teach pigs to sing - it only frustrates you and annoys the pig.

I have a similar thing for the XR and ,more probably, my Honda CRF300L. I bought a 5 litre unit and it works well and gives some peace of mind 😁. I bought it online as a good, inexpensive, solution.

I have a couple of these Desert Fox 6L bladders (
https://www.nippynormans.com/camping-travel/desert-fox-folding-fuel-cell-6-litre
), which you can tie down to the top of your panniers or topbox with cargo nets or rock straps. They come in 3L as well I think. They're flexible so they pack down really small when they're not in use.

I have 2 of these:
https://primus.us/products/fuel-bottles?variant=43667747242210
Inside 1 of these:
https://giviusa.com/products/mt503-4ltr-roll-tail-bag
Then strap it to the bike where you have room. It actually fits nicely under the rear rack above the tail light. You can see it a bit in this picture:

Nice. Thanks. I like the hard bags. Mine currently has Mototech soft bags.
