New member here ..... Roger Stansfield from Wigan.   Bike purchase imminent I suppose.  I own a R1200GS LC at the moment which is a great bike.  I also have a Kawasaki Z1b from 1975 which is lovely, but getting to be a bit of an ornament.  plus a little Honda CL250 street scrambler.   
I just know that there will be an XR in my garage soon . not just sure which way to buy it at the moment.    looking forward to an XR but being short in the leg it will have to be factory lowered.  Sat on one at Alan Jeffries the other day and it felt great.

So good in fact that I can feel a purchase coming.  :002:

Welcome, from another GS owner. I sold my GSA in May to make way for my new one, arriving in September. And no, the XR isn't going anywhere!!

it would be worth giving North Oxford BMW a call they gave me a great deal on a SE, they will even deliver if to far for you to collect

I think I may have crossed paths with a mate of yours today at Devils Bridge, chap on a Triumph, mentioned a mate PXing a GS for XR at Manchester, lives in Wigan and is a short arse, tricking up his new XR...???
