    I'm sure the crash bars probably offer more protection but would the frame sliders be better than nothing?

    Looking at Puig's, Evotech, R&G's.

    Any damage to the frame ? This slider mounting bolt looks pretty twisted...

    None at all, that's the entire point so the bung takes the brunt of it by bending. Small scrapes on the red triangle, barely skin deep and broken indicator, broken clutch perch, small scrape on bar ends, literally all the damage. Not even bent bars. Came off pretty good too, basically a slow speed highside on ice
