Was riding home on Sunday, through a wee village somewhere south of Dalmeny. There was a seagull fighting with a crow or something for a big chunk of bread roll on the other side of the road. It's only a 30mph and it's a busy wee village street so you're lucky if i was doing 25.
As i get practically next to them, the seagull casually takes off and gracefully swoops round in my direction. It took me half a second to realise i was heading face first for a collision with something who's mum must have been a turkey for the size of this thing.
I ducked and it scuffed along my helmet. The left side of my neck still hurts from jerking so fast

Next time it's getting headered
