Fitted Evotech Oil Cooler + Radiator Protectors
on: August 05, 2016, 08:59:25 PM
Just fitted the evotech guards, they are not the best fit i've ever seen. They're not a million miles off but they do leave the fairing at the sides slightly stressed. Nothing too bad i suppose but i'd rather they didn't touch at all.

The clips all lined up perfectly, but the shape of the guards, the curvature, is a bit off.

Bit surprised about the below par fit because i fitted their crash bungs and thought they were an absolutely first rate fit.

Ahh well, my bike's now a walking advert for evotech with all their bits and bobs lol i've got my black permy marker ready to touch up the guards when they inevitably get paint chips!

Hi. Fitted might even last week,  there is clearance between the guards and fairing, no rubbing.  You didn't miss a spacer (if there is one) or a washer? The radio guard does curve to meet the oil guard. Personally I you
Think it's okay

Yep, I've fitted both as well. However the salesman told me to remove if I had to take the bike in for any warranty issues. I know this has been discussed before but does anyone know if these guards definitely void the BMW warranty?. CJ

It seems he may have been referring to any issue related to overheating .CJ
