    Rear mud guard?

Hi Folks, I'd like to pick up one of the rear mud guard since I ride in the wet all the time and it causes a mess. I'm not finding them online. I'm talking about the type that stick out the back and catch the water before it sprays up. Any leads?

Yeah, one of those! Does BMW not make one? I'm glad to see a generic one can be made to fit our bikes. Any other options? Thanks.

Thanks so much! I'm so tired of all the muck I have to clean off everything on the stern of my bike. I'm now seeing that the RM5138 kit is the frame and the RM02 is a separate part. They have it at MotoStorm in Italy, but not here in the States anywhere. I've made the order and will be so happy to get it installed.

Doc - saw you have a soundbomb mini on your XR.  You pretty happy with it?  I have the split on my gen 1, but that was a more involved install compared to the mini so eyeing the mini for my gen 2.  Thanks!

rear fender extenders were standard with gen1 but no-one wanted them so dealers kept throwing them in the bin?

Yep, the Sound Bomb mini is great. Plug & Play on the Gen 2 XR. Easy install. You can even get it off Amazon.
