Miles per tank ?
« on: August 07, 2016, 04:37:17 PM »
What are people getting re this, appreciate its all dependant on how you ride etc.

Had a lively blast up to Devils - Hawes on a full tank, start read out shows 155 as we know however due to unforeseen circumstances the ride ended sooner than we expected, it was then a blast home via the M6, trip gave me 192 miles with 7 still showing on the illuminated 'reserve' reading. It wasn't a 100% full on blast all day but as I say 75% of it we took no prisoners !
Another thing this tank was high octane fuel, bike seemed smoother on it  :027:

Whenever I fill up it always says 155 range. Stays that way for about 20 to 30 miles.  Obviously set to only show 155 miles .... wonder why?

Is it just me or does the bike use more fuel when I’m out with Bill No Mates and I have it in Pro Dynamic mode?   :014: :007:
It must be something to do with not worrying about tipping my partner off the back! :745:

I’m getting about 150 miles ish then the fuel light is on out of the bike one up but about 180 miles two up before the light comes on, not to bad but I frequently got over 200 miles out of the K13s two up but only 160 one up!
After over thirty years behind the bars, I’ve still not done it all or seen it all.

Still running mine in (450 miles), but my light is coming on at about 125-130 miles  :138:
Riding at a reasonable pace, but not thrashing it......

I assume it's because it's all bedding in?    Did everyone have the same, or have I bought a duff one?  :034:

Cheers

About 200 for me, although I've never had the guts to run it that low. Usually fill up around the 180 mark :)
