    Greetings XR owners,

I'm admin over on s1000rrforum.com. Some of you may know or recognise me. I've had 4 RR's and have finally decided its time for an XR. Ridden them extensively in the past and was just ignoring the discomfort of the RR as I loved the power and handling too much. But my main type of riding is multi day mountain trips with 800kms a day so the superbike was not cutting it after around 10 years of doing it.

I'm an expert on the S series models so I'm sure I can help out around here with any tech questions you have. I'm a BMW Motorrad tech by trade and have transitioned into managing a service department at a new dealership. Have past experiece in a head office tech support role as well.

I service BMW's from home in my spare time and modify the TFT dash and other electronics.

If anyone needs VIN's checked or part numbers please let me know, I can provide it accurately and quickly.

Hope to be a helpful and contributing member of the XR forum.

    Welcome to the forums,

    Expertise is always welcome!

And as a BMW aficionado I'm sure you'll agree the XR is the superior bike  :150:

Welcome Benny from the other side! Does this mean that you have or contemplating replacing your RR with an XR??
