    Anyone ventured there... :187:

I could do with a heads up with what's involved, especially, any non standard tools that may be required.  :084:

Relatively easy, bars need to come up and out the way, big hex key (same as front wheel? or one size down) for upper yoke nut, undo torx pinch bolts on the forks, pull the yoke off, then it's a standard double groove nut arrangement. Need a fairly small c-spanner for it (or good old screw driver + mallet shh, i didn't tell you  :156:) , not sure about the torque spec, I think 15Nm but from what i recall reading you can go higher if needed, but with the XR on the center stand it's easy enough to go bit by bit until it feels good, (tight but still free to move under it's own weight). Also probably a good idea to grease it whilst in there already. Just take the 2 groove nuts off and under the cover. or slide the whole fork out a bit to get access to the bottom one too. Putting them back is all the same just reverse order

Steering stem nut:  100Nm, lightly greased threads
    Fork clamps: 19Nm
    Bar clamps: 19Nm
