Once again i go round the routine of renewals.

Ins due up on the 26th of this month, currently insured with Bemoto where my policy overlapped between 2 bikes, originally covered on a '07 Fireblade then onto the 21 plate XR, renewal quote of £292.

55, live in Manchester, IAM member / Advanced rider, 30 years bike, 38 car.

So via Go Compare quick quote starts at £214, euro travel, ride other bikes, 800 excess, 20 plus quotes and at 16th, Bemoto at £284 !

Needless to say i'll be off somewhere else and i've updated Bemoto via Insta posts on all their ads, thnaks for the loyalty  :151: :151:

Haha, wish I had those prices,

    Insurance Quotes on my XR:

Year 1: £106 Comp (probably error but all details correct)
    Year 2: £540 TP Only
Year 3: £580 TP Only (after fudging numbers whilst staying legally truthful, renewal quote was £860  :745:)

Wow, 54, north manchester  £154 fully comp bennets. Just added the RAC european cover for £80. Never made a claim, run a company car. Bikes a 19 plate owned from new. Was around £250 when I first insured it, way cheaper than my previous sportsbikes.

Riding 20 years, bikes garaged with a ground anchor. OL2 postcode.

       Hope this helps, Phil.

    I went with these https://www.bemoto.uk/

Not sure what I paid but it was the best deal at the time, last November.

Bemoto ain’t the cheapest, but they are superb to deal with.     I wrote a bike off a couple of years ago hooning about in the Pyrenees.   I self recovered back to the UK in the back of a van.  They collected the bike on Monday and paid out on the Friday.  The Helmet and Leathers cover was paid out on the Tuesday.    I’m 61 and have been insuring my bikes since I was 16.  I’ve often taken the cheapest quote and had major dramas when making a claim.   I honestly don’t mind paying over the odds to an Insurance company that has got your back and goes the extra mile to give you the service you expect.

All well and good when your cheapest quote is 150 quid and your "premium" is 250, not when your cheapest is 900 quid and your 2nd cheapest is 1300...

     Thanks for the replies.

I'm not after the cheapest but I'd like to be treated fairly, it's not hard for us to find multiple prices and we're not in the trade, is this not their speciality.

Cheers all, ride safe #Bikesafe  :028:

Can I just add that Devitt just emailed my renewal price for 2nd June.

My policy, underwritten by Ageas, has gone down a tenner from the 2022 price. £83.01 - yes, that's for a year, full comp. £350 excess.
