I’ve had 2 pairs of their boots. The first was the Clubman and the second was a pair of their Hogg boots ( but without a waterproof lining)
I found the Clubman very stiff and lacked any feel. That would have been 20+ years ago The Hogg were bought to go to Morocco and I used them in South Africa. In Morocco we were going to do some walking and South Africa, I took them there as it was hot and dry.
My normal boots ( and I’ve had 2 or 3 pairs ) are Daytona Road Stars.
I would struggle to ride my XR in the likes of the Clubman boots. I think I’d had to get an RT
They used to have a big following amongst the GSA and RT riders and the Police. But now there are virtually no Bike Cops

I've worn their Clubman boot for years as Daytona boots don’t fit my feet very well.. Over around 30,000+ miles or so, they’ve never once leaked and they’re very comfortable, especially when you get off the bike and need to walk somewhere. No, they don’t have the feel of a race boot, but I’ve worn these on RT’s, GS’s, two XR’s, and now a Pikes Peak V4 Multistrada (including track days) and I really can’t say that they’ve slowed me down and will definitely outlast the Sidi’s that I used to wear.
Very subjective opinion, but I would suggest that you try a pair on.

I have a number of different pairs of Altberg boots including these but , sub consciously, always choose to wear Daytona (Voltex) boots as they are more comfortable on and off the bike and feel ( and probably are) stronger/safer. Daytona boots are a bit more expensive but absolutely worth the money.
