Author Headlight bulb cover breaking up?  (Read 300 times)

    Headlight bulb cover breaking up?

    I noticed something weird when I was washing my gen 2 xr yesterday.   There were white specs of something on the inside of the headlight cover and one of the bulbs looked like it was breaking up along one side.

    Anyone else have the same thing?
    I plan to live forever.  So far, so good!

    I had the headlamp unit replaced under warranty on my Gen 2 as part of the internal projector unit was pressing against the outer cover. It looked like a white speck where it made contact with the outer cover.

    That kind of sounds similar. I'll be stopping by the dealer in the next day or so so they can order the parts and fix it asap.
    I plan to live forever.  So far, so good!
