    Nav 6 FREE replacement.

Just like many of us my Nav 6 started to display all of the typical ghosting issues roughly 2 years ago and via my dealer, BMW agreed to replace it with a reconditioned unit.

3 months ago this unit also started to fail but this time BMW totally refused an exchange, much to my shock and dissatisfaction.

So! I contacted Garmin direct and spoke with a super helpful chap and all I had to do was provide original proof of purchase, the serial number and bingo! exchange approved for a recon unit with a further 2 year warranty. All totally FOC.

Just thought I’d share for those with similar issues.

    Happy Chappy  :152: :047:
    Cheers,

Good to know because I’m pretty sure my already replaced Nav 6 is doing some weird stuff!

I’m away Friday week to Andorra so I hope it holds up!

The only temporary fix that worked for me was to stop, unclip the nav and power it down then back up again.

Then go through the tedious process of finding out where you are and tag the next weigh point on your route.

    Good luck.
    Cheers,
