    Hi all

Has anyone tried the Wunderlich active comfort seat?

I have the scooped seat and I find it tilts me forwards, great when rattling on but touring a touch hard on the tops of legs..

I have the Aktivkomfort seat for my 2022.  It is much firmer than the stock seat, and doesn't have the slope the low seat from BMW has that forces you into the tank.  I also like the material better than the stock seat as it grips your bottom and keeps it in position.  I'm not sure I'd like it if I moved around a lot on the seat, but I don't so it's good.

I am not happy with the build quality though.  The staples holding the martial to the seat pan doesn't have the same attention to detail the oem seats have.  I'm concerned that wear will cause it to let go where the staples barely hold it on.  The foam is also not perfect either and it has bumps and bulges it shouldn't have.

It does look good though so I keep it.

Thanks for your insight! the main issue I have is sliding into the tank as I have the scooped seat - shame about quality as I had heard Wunderlich were very good.

The seat fixes the sliding for certain.  I do actually like the seat, but was disappointed by the (lack of) quality control only on the seat.  I have the pannier liners, engine guards, radiator/oil cooler grills and love them all.  The quality is better than the equivalent BMW parts.

Being in Canada I had to use Wunderlich America and there are some issues around shipping and returns, but that's not a product issue.

I have the wunderlich seat and have just returned from a trip in Europe with some long days riding. The seat is better than the standard seat but I found it got uncomfortable after an hour and a half to the extent that we had to stop regularly to get the circulation going in my backside. I tried padded shorts but that made little or no difference.
I have to think about what to do to improve it without raising the height.

    So here is the VERDICT.

I have OEM Standard seat, OEM Comfy Seat and Wunderlich standard. I'm 5'11" and 160lbs (73kg)

OEM Standard - Not enough padding
OEM Comfy - Same padding as Wunderlich BUT softer and less tall. Doesn't push you towards the tank as OEM Standard
Wunderlich - Harder padding than OEM comfy, and you sit a bit taller. I notice this as the wind hits my helmet more than with OEM Standard or Comfy seat.

I decided to keep OEM Comfy as it is softer, less tall than Wunderlich, and better than OEM standard.

    Great you have tried them
    All.

Forgetting the height, is the Wunderlich also as comfortable as the OEM
Comfy or does the harder padding transmit more road bumps?

To me, as I'm skinny and light weight, Wunderlich is harder a bit and taller a bit, noticeable to me compare to BMW comfy seat.
