12K Service Cost

Just thought I'd share my 12k service cost of £245 incl VAT.

This was for all the obvious oil/filter etc,,,,, I have a K&N air filter so no need for any attention there. But did include complete brake fluid change and bleed.

They noticed that the coolant was low and identified a very slight water pump leak that feeds back to a lower sump, so it's booked in for replacement.

This was done at Retein Motorrad in Glemsford Suffolk.

Gen-1 or Gen-2..?? Water pump leaks are very common on the Gen-1's, easy to replace....Not so much on the Gen-2. Full exhaust and sump has to come off to replace Gen-2 water/oil pump.

Ahhh yes Gen2, but still in warranty so no dramas there.
