Hi all. New owner of a low mileage 2018 XR. I'm not new to motorcycles, have owned Honda's Yamaha's and an Aprilia but definitely new to BMW. Never thought I'd own one but the lure of the XR was strong
Found a low mileage 2018 out on the east coast and rode it home; about 800 miles. It is bone stock and I will be doing as much as my own maintenance as I can. It still needs its initial dealer service. And new fork seals
Best I can tell is the bike was put on the road in 2019 and hardly ridden at all. I bought it from the second owner who put less than 100 miles on it. I'll be spending most of my time here in the maintenance forum looking for resources and advice. Glad to be here.
