    I've done a search of the internet and forum.  Looked for instructions on BMW's catalog with the part.  I must be missing something, but who knows. 

    My M package XR came ready to install the Top and Side cases, so I purchased the BMW Top and Side cases.  I am going to build the lock cylinders myself, I have done this once before, so hoping it's the same process.  However, I am looking for any instructions or vids that someone might know to share?  Or where can one download instructions to install the accessories? 

    Also, is this a decorative cover that has to come off first to install the Top case?  It seems like it might be, but without any instructions, i am just guessing.

    DOH!   Well, I figured it out once I keyed the cylinder and installed it.  It does fit and that isn't decorative.
