Hi I'm new to this page and needing help I've just purchased a new xr! I hate the rack and the hangers for the panniers, my 19 plate xr I could take the rack of and replace with grab handles, I've looked everywhere but it seems no such thing exists for the newer xr.

Correct...The Gen-2 has intergrated panniers, there is no replacement grab handles for them.

Highly unlikely unfortunately....the Gen-2 has been around for over 3-1/2 years now, it would have happened by now if it was going to happen.

So I may have got the wrong end of the stick here but if you want to delete the top box rack you’ll need this from bmw small handles, these are what I have on the bike currently:

And if you want to get rid of the panniers top securing mechanism, then the only way till the MXR is released is with this:

That looks a LOT like how I am envisioning the M1000XR is going to look if they do the tail delete and short windscreen like we have seen in most of the pics so far.
