Hi to all. I am new to this forum. I hope I am posting in the right place in regards to my problem.
I have the 2020 xr te model with the oem auxiliary lights fitted with the evotech crash bungs and brackets. The auxiliary light got condensation build up then after a while the light stopped working. so having time on my hand I opened the sealed unit with great difficulty cleaned it all out put it all back together again to find I still didn't work. So the warranty was void so I payed around £115 for a new one fitted that one and after doing around 1k miles got the same problem so I taken it back to BMW and they exchange it no questions asked. Now I have the same problem again. I dont want to keep going back to BMW for it to happen again. So I was thing of taking the front black cover off exposing the plastic clear lens and drilling a 2mm hole on the bottom and one at the top so the condensation has somewhere to escape too. Any suggestions would be appreciated befor I do this.
