Key (FOB) out of range warning

Is it only me or are there others that get the same warning (in orange) on the TFT that say "Key out of reach and the bike may not start again". How ever the key is hanging around my neck and I have fitted a new battery to the FOB. This happen intermittently and then disappear for a day of so just to be back again. There is no Cell phone in my pockets to interfere. It once happened when I have my tank bag on that the white display warning said "battery at 50%"

What was the remedy if you had this on your GEN 2

I haven't had the out of range message, but have had the battery at 50% message a couple of times.  The first time I changed the fob battery, but the second time I ignored it since I knew there was no way the battery was at 50% that fast.

Hey, so I get the same if I have my tank bag on the bike from time to time.

To me it's a signal issue, which is sort of a curse and a blessing at the same time. I've found if I take the key out of my top jacket and dangle it over the dash and re start the bike all good and on we go.
The good side is if your not right next to the bike it will not start, so less chance of someone starting the bike, unlike my car which I seem to be able to open the boot from 50 feet away when I'm in the office and don't see the boot pop open :230:

On the battery front, I'd have my bike about a week and if the key was not over the dash it would not start at all, my BMW dealer changed the battery for a BMW one, that fixed.  The deal did say in the factory they just put cheap ones in.  How true that is not a clue.

I'd say get the battery changed in the key.
