Has anyone fitted the Cymarc TFT security frame and was it hard to fit?

Yes and no, quite easy, just have to remove the screen for access.  Spacers for the screen are a bit of a faff but that's all.

It is straight forward to fit, if in doubt search YouTube for "Cymarc TFT Screen Anti Theft Brace Fitting Guide" it is not hard to find:-).

My only feedback to Cymarc was I would have liked more of the rubber strip to protect the screen from the brace for the price...  I just got some more from eBay/Amazon to be double safe!

Thanks guys, I did have a search and could only find a video GS one being fitted.
Any ideas which country’s suffer from tft thefts ?( is it just the UK !)
I’m off on a 2 week Alps  tour at the end of the month, wondering if it’s a worthwhile investment .

I recently went through various European countries and had no problems with anyone interfering with the bike. To be fair I don't have the TFT security kit and have never had any problems here in the UK but I rarely go into the big cities.

I don’t go to big city’s either, virtually no crime in west Wales.

    Think I’ll risk it 👍

Here in West Yorkshire you don't have to worry about the TFT theft either....... they'll just take the whole bike .....  :155:

UK big cities have risks for sure!  When I tour Europe I leave my bike on pavements and all sorts of places, the braces costs the same as 2 or 3 tanks of fuel from memory...  If someone did steal the TFT it would be a very bad end to any tour, I took the view it was actually "cheap" insurance...  Peter
