    Throttle Problems.....

    Hi All,

I have a 2022 (DECEMBER) S1000XR which I love to bits.  Quick, comfy and just amazing.  Completed an amazing tour into Northern Spain, Southern France and back again...one day completing 400 miles in comfort, I know, comfortable...!

Last trek home from Plymouth in the pouring rain 1 junction from home and bang, warning on the dash 'ride to nearest dealer' flashed up and no power, nothing.  Nervous drift across 3 lanes on M5 holiday makers and I make it to the hard shoulder.  turn it off and on again and no power.  it starts but no revving.  bike knackered.  BMW help took 5 hours, in the rain and now with Bristol Motorrad for over two weeks awaiting diagnosis..!

hope they can sort it but I am nervous.  Losing all engine power in the fast lane at .....70 nearly C%&pped myself....

    Thoughts, similar issue..?

Sounds like throttle position sensor either in the throttle grip assy or in the throttle bodies packed up, probably the firmer given the rain.... Unusual
