M1000XR vs S1000R Mpak?

Need help making a decision. I'm trying to decide what I want for my next bike. I just sold my 2020XR and my triumph street triple RS. I'm trying to decide between if I should get the M1000XR or a S1000R with an M pack.

My riding is split between riding with a passenger in the twistys and track riding. Almost all of that was done on my XR. I unfortunately was a bit to big for my triumph suspension let alone with a passenger.

How does the S1000R handle passengers?

Will the M1000XR handle passengers just as well as the original did?

Will the M1000XR make a good track day bike?

Any other ideas or things I should consider?

Surely an S1000R is not going to be too dissimilar to a Street Triple in regards to carrying a pillion?

And I'm sure an M1000XR would be more capable than an S1000R round a track, if only on the straights.

Plus you'd have the exclusivity of owning a M bike. I know where my money would be going.

As far as i know the M1000xr will be a 24 model with the shiftcam 200+ hp engine from the s1000rr and the rest - suspension, electronics, etc based upon the current generation but still updated to cope with the increased performance- still unknown as they only showed a prototype with bits still unfinished. But I would still say wait for the M1000xr - sometime q1 2024. It should be quite spectacular
