I am making some research (within the forum and on the net) for options to replace the OEM side cases that are too bulky and not really sexy!!
I am pouting to an option which checked almost all what I want or don’t want
- don’t want the support to be permanent (to keep a clean look when no side cases installed)
- I am not a big fan of side cases, I prefer a duffel bag on the saddle and a top case, but when traveling with wife the extra cases are necessary.
- not at all a big fan of aluminum or hard cases, prefer the soft side cases.
I am pinpointing to the following set up:
- SW Motech Pro Side Carrier Quick Lock
-SysBag WP L
The good thing with those support with Quick Lock is that they can be removed in few minutes and only stay the small brackets.
They have actually a set with the supports and the side cases above mentioned for the XR.
Does anybody have this set mounted on his XR? Pics if available?
